Question: The Precision Portable Monitor screen is blank. What should I do?

If the screen is blank, try these checks:

 

1. Check that the monitor is connected to power.

2. Make sure the correct input source is selected, either HDMI or USB-C.

3. Try a different cable or power adapter.

4. If using HDMI, remember that HDMI carries video and the monitor still needs USB-C power.

5. If reconnecting cables, wait 10 seconds after unplugging HDMI or USB-C before reconnecting.

 

These steps cover the most common setup causes before moving to support escalation.
