No. The Mini HDMI connection carries the display signal but does not supply operating power to the monitor.

To use Mini HDMI:
1. Connect the HDMI end of the cable to your source device.
2. Connect the Mini HDMI end to the monitor.
3. Connect a USB-C power source to the monitor.
4. Turn on the source device and monitor.
5. Select HDMI as the input source.

The Laser Precision 14 Inch USB-C Portable Monitor for Laptop must receive power through USB-C when connected through Mini HDMI.
