Laser Starlink Pivot Mount FAQ - Choosing a Mounting Spot

Question: Where should I install the Laser Starlink Pivot Mount?

Answer:
Model reference: PC-SLG3PI-813
Applies to: PC-SLG3PI-813

Choose a mounting spot where your Starlink dish has a clear view of the sky.

The manual explains that objects such as:

  • tree branches
  • poles
  • parts of the roof
  • nearby obstructions

can block the signal and may cause dropouts.

Before drilling, use the obstruction tool in the app to check that your chosen spot is suitable. The Laser ChargeCore Starlink Gen 3 V4 Adjustable Pivot Mount should also be fixed to a stable location where both pilot holes line up with a solid structural beam.
