Question: The dongle light is on, but CarPlay or Android Auto does not appear on my car screen. What should I do?

Answer:
A lit dongle means it has power, but the car or phone is not completing the connection.

Model reference: NAVC-WD25-649 and NAVC-WD25N656.

Try the steps below:

  1. Turn Bluetooth and Wi Fi off on your phone, then turn them back on.

  2. Unplug the dongle, wait 10 seconds, then plug it back in.

  3. Restart your phone and your car’s infotainment system.

  4. Make sure your phone is not connected to another CarPlay unit or Bluetooth device.

  5. Check that the car already supports wired Apple CarPlay or wired Android Auto.

  6. Remove any saved CarPlay or Android Auto devices from the car menu and start pairing again.
