Laser Wireless CarPlay Dongle FAQ - Dongle Not Powering On

Question: Why is my Laser Wireless CarPlay Dongle not powering on?

Answer:
If the dongle shows no light, it usually means the USB port is not providing power or is a charge only port.

Model reference: NAVC-WD25-649 and NAVC-WD25N656.

Check the following:

  1. Plug the dongle into the same USB-A or USB-C port that you normally use for wired Apple CarPlay or wired Android Auto.

  2. Avoid USB charge only ports, often marked with a small battery icon.

  3. Make sure the port can provide at least 5V 1A.

  4. If the dongle feels loose, try a short, high quality, data capable USB cable between the port and the dongle.

  5. If available, test another USB port in the same vehicle.
