Some users have noticed their projector looks blurry or out of focus. In many cases, the cause is simple—the protective film on the lens hasn’t been removed. This thin film is applied during packaging to keep the lens safe, but it must be taken off before use.
How to Check and Remove the Protective Film
1. Turn off the projector and unplug it from the power.
2. Look closely at the projector lens.
3. If you see a clear plastic film covering the lens, gently peel it off.
4. Once removed, plug the projector back in and turn it on.
5. Use the F- and F+ buttons on the remote to fine tune the focus.
Handy Tips
* Keep the film if you plan to store or transport the projector—it helps protect the lens.
* Always handle the lens carefully to avoid scratches.
* If the picture still looks blurry after tuning the focus, move the projector closer to or farther from the screen.
