PJ-OBFH14-525: Troubleshooting Guide

Get help with common issues you may encounter with the PJ-OBFH14-525 Outdoor Cinema Bundle.

Question: What should I do if the projector displays "No Signal"?
Answer:

  • Check the power light next to the power button is on and green. If it’s red, then press the power button to take the device out of standby. If there is no light then check the projector is plugged into the mains, and that the socket is switched on. 
  • Check the lens cover has been removed.
  • Check the cables are securely attached and installed as per the User Manual.
  • The image source may not be set correctly. Press the Source button on the Control Panel or the Remote, to select the

    correct setting.

Question: Why is the sound not playing through the soundbar?
Answer:

  • Confirm the soundbar is powered on and in Bluetooth mode.
  • Ensure the projector's Bluetooth setting is enabled and connected to the soundbar.
  • Check the projector menu to ensure audio output is directed to Bluetooth.


Question: THE IMAGE IS WIDER AT THE TOP/ BOTTOM OF THE SCREEN

Answer:

This is called keystone and is due to the projection angle not being perpendicular to the screen. To correct use the projectors inbuilt keystone function to adjust the image.


Question: THE LAMP (BULB) SWITCHES OFF AFTER A PERIOD OF TIME. IS THE WARNING LIGHT INDICATOR RED? IF SO, THE PROJECTOR IS OVERHEATING WHICH TURNS THE LIGHT OFF AUTOMATICALLY.

Answer:

  • Leave the projector to cool for a few minutes. 
  • Once cooled, check nothing is blocking the vents.
  • Check the air filter and clean if necessary. 
  • Turn on the projector.


Question: What should I do if the soundbar doesn’t connect via Bluetooth?
Answer:

  • Make sure the soundbar is in Bluetooth mode.
  • Refresh the Bluetooth device list on your smartphone or projector.
  • Ensure no other device is connected to the soundbar.
  • Move the soundbar closer to the projector or phone.


Question: Why is my USB or MicroSD card not working with the soundbar?
Answer:

  • Ensure the device is formatted to FAT32.
  • Make sure the content is in MP3 format; other audio formats may not play.
  • Confirm the storage device is 128GB or less.
