Question: How do I update the firmware on my DVD-PT-7D Portable DVD Player to fix low sound output?

If your Laser Portable DVD Player (DVD-PT-7D) is experiencing low sound output, a firmware update is available to resolve this issue.

 Download Firmware File: DC8202KD_LA703_800X480_850_AVIN_LASER_VOL_MAX_20250214.rar

Steps to Update the Firmware:

Step 1: Prepare the USB Device

  1. Unzip the firmware file on your computer.
  2. Copy the .BIN file to a USB flash drive (formatted as FAT32).

Step 2: Update the DVD Player

  1. Plug in the DVD Player & Turn it on.
  2. Insert the USB drive into the USB port. Wait for the player to detect the update file. 
  3. Press OK to start the update. 
  4. Wait for the player to reboot—Once it restarts, the update is done.
  5. Remove the USB Drive.

Important: Do not turn off the power or remove the USB during the update.
