MID-1089IPS - Using MicroSD Card

To use an SD card on the MID-1089IPS tablet:

Copy the files from the tablet to SD card:

1. Insert the SD card, swipe down on the top left corner, and click SD card.
2. Click Portable Storage.
3. Open the File folder on the tablet, click the relevant folder to choose a file. Press and hold to tick the file, click the dot icon on the top right corner, and choose Copy to or Move to.
4. Click Continue and then click ALLOW ACCESS TO 'SD CARD'.
5. Click ALLOW, and the file will be copied to or moved to the SD card.
6. The files on the SD card can now be read on a computer.

Set SD card as extra storage:

1. Insert the SD card, swipe down on the top left corner, and click SD card.
2. Click Use for Extra tablet storage.
3. The tablet internal storage will be expanded with the SD card size as one.
4. The files can be read on the computer when the tablet is connected, but nothing can be read if the SD card is removed from the tablet and connected to the computer.

Note: Unfortunately, when the SD card is set as Portable, the photos/videos taken cannot be recorded or saved to the SD card directly.
