Is LiFePO4 safer than semi-solid-state battery technology?

LiFePO4 is widely known for strong thermal stability and long cycle life, which can make it suitable for power and energy storage products.

Semi-solid-state battery technology is also designed with safety and performance in mind, but the final safety outcome depends on the specific battery cell, product design, battery management system and correct use.

No battery technology should be described as risk-free. Battery safety depends on the product design, battery management system, charging method, storage conditions and how the product is used.

Always follow the product manual and safety instructions.

Stop using a battery product and contact support if it:

Becomes swollen or damaged

Becomes unusually hot

Smells unusual

Leaks

Makes unusual sounds

Does not charge or operate normally

Has been dropped, crushed or exposed to water

Only use the supplied or recommended charger and cable. Keep battery products away from excessive heat, water and physical damage.
