If the camera keeps showing an error to format the SD card, and the SD card has been reformatted using a PC but the error persists:
- Check the capacity of the SD card. It must be supported by the device.
- Ensure the SD card is formatted in FAT32 format.
- Check the capacity of the SD card. Large capacity cards cannot be formatted to FAT32 by default on PCs.
- Use third-party software such as EaseUS Partition Master to format large capacity cards to FAT32.
- The easiest way is to format the SD card on the camera itself:
- Go to Camera Settings
- Select Storage Settings
- Click on the FORMAT button
